Ivi
Born and raised in the heart of the Mediterranean, in Cyprus, Ivi Kyratzi fell in love with fashion at a very early age. Though her parents were no strangers to the clothing industry, she wanted to succeed on her own and flew to Great Britain to prepare to start her brand. With her diploma in hand, she left, this time for New York, to join the very prestigious Parsons New School of Design. Then, once again, Ivi Kyratzi packed her bags for the West Coast, and headed for Los Angeles. The lightness and overall sense of well-being she found in the City of Angels inspired her both personally and professionally. She flourished there, and felt inspired to create jewellery that could be worn by women as radiant and cosmopolitan as the city that now inspired her. In 2016, she founded Ivi, a jewellery label driven by a love of art, and a desire for simple jewellery for everyday wear. The simple and symmetrical pieces designed by Ivi Kyratzi play with style norms to offer new alternatives. Blurring the boundaries between masculine and feminine, spontaneity and geometry, they offer a new take on the jewellery we pass down through the generations, bringing it a touch of modernity and sass.
The Ivi adventure was made possible in part thanks to a meeting. That of Ivi Kyratzi and Gabrielle Veneri, an expert in Italian jewellery design. With a shared passion for exceptional jewellery and a modern take on femininity, they began to collaborate on the creation of Ivi pieces. The jewels are designed by the Cypriot founder, but are made in Tuscany, in Arezzo, in a factory managed by Veneri. With Ivi, Italian jewellery craftsmanship is given a modern and sustainable update. Ivi jewellery is designed with scant regard for the fashion seasons and its materials are recycled and sustainably sourced, resulting in timeless pieces like the Aurelia hoops and necklaces, and the beautiful Slot rings.
