Never doubt the power of Instagram... La Manso is living proof that with a unique style and quirky aesthetic, the social networking site is the perfect platform to truly stand out from the crowd. With candid photos, colourful rings styled with glittery manicures (and pedicures), pop culture memes that parody scenes from cult films – and attack fast fashion brands that copy its designs -, La Manso's Instagram feed is as ballsy as its young founder. Adriana Manso, known as “La Manso” to her friends, created her brand in Barcelona; a brand whose spirit reflects her own. Creative, quirky and full of character, she designs her jewellery using plastic that is collected locally and recycled. Unsurprisingly, La Manso quickly established itself as the favourite brand of many a discerning fashion fan. From Dua Lipa to Lily-Rose Depp, not forgetting Miley Cyrus, young stylish women are clamouring for a piece of La Manso's colourful brand. How can we resist?! With its oversized rings in vibrant colours and their Barbie-esque design, La Manso is as kitsch as it is delightfully Y2K. And with noughties fashion now very much back on the scene, the Barcelona brand is our new go-to for plastic and glittery designs. Though very much on-trend, some might find La Manso rings a little bit OTT. For the more timid fashion fans, we recommend opting for a transparent model, such as the Barbarella or NYC, while the more adventurous can layer and stack the designs for a bolder, quirkier style.
